The Blue Tourism Initiative participated in the Sun&Blue Congress 2024, a key event on tourism and the blue economy, organised at the Cabo de Gata Exhibition and Congress Palace Almeria (Spain) from 20th-22th November 2024. 

Jeremie Fosse, Director of eco-union, moderates the panel discussion “Future Visions: Driving Innovation and Sustainable Energy Projects in Tourism,” which will discuss the role of renewable energy and innovation in transforming the tourism sector.

While Rosario Galán, Ecosystem Resilience & Spatial Planning Program Officer at IUCN Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation, will participate in the CPMR Intermediterranean Commission Task Force on “Sustainable Cultural & Maritime Tourism” and the side event of the Interreg Euro-Med Natour4ClimateChange project, as well as other events on Climate Adaptation and Sustainable Tourism.
