Our partner IUCN Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation is seeking local Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Djerba to implement pilot activities that enhance the sustainability of blue tourism at the Ras Raml Ramsar site.

The selected CSO will work on:

• Developing and implementing a visitor management strategy
• Regulating access paths and trails
• Installing light infrastructure
• Creating awareness materials to promote responsible tourism
• Training guides and boat operators on sustainable practices.

Who can apply?

• Legally registered Tunisian CSOs active in environmental conservation based in Djerba
• Local NGOs, professional agriculture associations, women’s associations, youth associations and federations
• Expertise in biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation and marine/coastal environmental issues and tourism, with experience working in protected areas.
