Our partner, the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI), is seeking a consultant to implement pilot activities that support the sustainable coastal and marine community-based tourism (CBT) in the South Coast of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The objectives of the consultancy are to:

● Enhance MSMEs’ understanding and implementation of sustainable coastal and marine tourism practices.

● Work with pre-identified MSMEs to improve business development (including grant applications), financial literacy, and management skills through a highly replicable methodology.

● Provide MSMEs with tools and techniques to develop proposals for grant funding or other appropriate business activities, helping them access financial resources to strengthen their operations.

● Improve efficiency and competitiveness of these MSMEs’ operations by introducing and integrating technological and innovative solutions, easily adaptable to the rest of SVG’s MSMEs.

The Consultant will design training material and conduct a 3-4 day in-person training workshop in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
